Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At Avocoop, our commitment to the land, to people and to communities is the foundation of how we work. Aware of the importance of knowing, respecting and protecting Human Rights in the workplace on the part of our employees, suppliers and contractors, we have created this Policy on the Approach to Human Rights in the Workplace and ETI Code.<\/p>\n

This policy expresses Avocoop\u2019s commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its relationship with the agricultural and commercial activity we carry out across each of our origins.<\/p>\n

In creating it, Avocoop assumes the responsibility it bears towards its employees, suppliers and contractors in matters of Human Rights. To that end, the responsibilities and scope are described below.<\/p>\n

Scope and field of application<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The guidelines set out in this policy are the framework establishing how Avocoop addresses human rights and the ETI Code, based on the employment relationships the company maintains with its employees, suppliers and contractors.<\/p>\n

It therefore applies to the employees, suppliers, contractors and members of the management body of Avocoop, to whom the company undertakes to make this policy known in a timely manner and whenever a change or review takes place.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Responsibility for implementing and communicating the Policy on the Approach to Human Rights in the Workplace and ETI Code lies with the Human Resources and Purchasing departments, as well as with Avocoop\u2019s Management, who shall ensure proper and strict compliance with the guidelines set out in this policy.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, Avocoop sets out in concrete terms its responsibilities in matters of Human Rights and the ETI Code towards its employees, suppliers and contractors.<\/p>\n
