Committed to sustainability

aguacate sostenible

At Avocoop, we see sustainability as the core of our purpose and the basis of our daily work, from cultivation to final delivery. Our model focuses on being at the source, with a direct presence in Spain, Peru, Chile, the Dominican Republic, and Colombia, which allows us to manage each stage responsibly.

Working in different origins allows us to adapt to different climatic conditions, optimizing resources and reducing risks. In addition, we collaborate with co-producers and local alliances to promote responsible production based on traceability and transparency.

Producción responsable y optimización de productos

Our commitment is reflected in a model that seeks to ensure high-quality production that respects the environment, particularly protecting soil fertility and applying sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.

We control every stage of production and marketing, and our processing plants are geared towards efficiency and resource optimization, reducing losses and improving logistics planning. We also practice responsible agricultural management, with controlled treatments that prioritize soil and environmental care.

This approach is complemented by a commitment to sustainable and innovative packaging solutions, which help minimize environmental impact in the commercial phase as well.

Positive impact on communities: social value and local economy

For Avocoop, sustainability also means generating social impact. We work locally to train and empower workers, boost the economy in rural areas, and strengthen the social fabric of the communities linked to our crops.

Our model promotes a balance between economic, social, and environmental well-being, developing people and generating opportunities in the territories where we operate. Together with our partner co-producers, we extend good practices for more professional and sustainable agriculture, creating long-term value for the environment, communities, and future generations.
