
Guacamole in a Mortar
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt
- 1 lime juice
- 1/2 red onion
- Jalapeños
- Fresh cilantro
- Pulp-free tomato
PREPARATION
1. Extract the avocado pulp and place it in the mortar, add the garlic, lime juice, and salt, grind. It doesn’t have to be a smooth cream; you should be able to find small pieces of avocado.
2. Form the pico de gallo by finely chopping the onion, jalapeño, and tomato (without pulp).
3. Finely chop fresh cilantro.
